Orthodox Church “Assumption of the Virgin” 1 |
|
Is one of the oldest churches in Constanta City, build in the beginning of the XXth century between 1900 and 1911. The mural painting was executed near the 1914 by the painter Gheorghe Marinescu, student of the great Nicolae Grigorescu, in the Renaissance style. Inside you can admire the strained-glass windows, unique in Constanta. Exterior mosaic, about 60 square meters, was realized between 1999-2000 by Gheorghe Firica and Marian Deaconu. |
