It is advisable to take a metered taxi, or to negotiate the price before commencing the journey. The current rates range between 5,000 and 10,000 ROL ($0.192 - $0.384) per km and varies between companies. A typical price from the airport to the city center is about 200,000 ROL ($7.69) and from the city center to Mamaia about 80,000 ROL ($3.07). Taxis can be ordered by phone at 953 or +4041690000. |
